Act on Olyv ₹207 crore Series C funding by Khaitan and SAMVĀD 


The money will help Olyv grow by enabling it to provide more digital financial services.
 


Through a Series C fundraise headed by The Fundamentum Partnership – Fund II and including participation from SMBC Asia Rising Fund, Smartcoin Financials Private Limited (Olyv) has raised ₹207 crore. 

Olyv received advice on this fund-raise from Khaitan & Co. The firm performed vendor due diligence on Olyv and its subsidiaries, helped negotiate and finalize the transaction paperwork, and offered advice on the structuring-related aspects of the deal. 

Sanchit Agarwal (Partner), Prerna Kapur (Senior Associate), Chirag Mangal (Senior Associate), Jubin Jay (Senior Associate), Shubhang Upadhyay, Yatin Chandna, Aastha Agarwallaa, and Akhil Piyush were the members of the transaction team. 

Partner Abhinav Rastogi and Senior Associate Ransher Singh provided employment-related advice. 

SAMVĀD: The Fundamentum Partnership, the principal investor, received advice from partners regarding this fundraising effort. 

With assistance from Senior Associate Soham Roy and Associates Ayush Rastogi and Shivi Shrivastava, the transaction was spearheaded by Senior Partner Junaira Rahman and Partner Pratik Patnaik. 

Olyv is a digital lending company established in Bengaluru that provides personal loans with an online application process up to ₹5 lakh. It only collaborates with banks and NBFCs that are registered with the RBI to offer quick approvals and smooth loan disbursement. 

The money will help Olyv grow by enabling it to provide more digital financial services.
