There are now 77 placements overall after the university verified 40 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).
On August 5, 2025, Day Zero, 37 students from Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar, got offers.
Ninety students took part in the Day Zero process, and the university has confirmed 40 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), bringing the overall number of placements to 77.
With seven Day Zero placements, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has topped the offer table. It was followed by six bids from Nishith Desai Associates.
Five offers were made by Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. AZB & Partners and Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys each submitted four proposals. Three proposals were made by Khaitan & Co. CMS IndusLaw, ICICI Bank, and Anagram Partners each submitted two proposals. Trilegal and Argus Partners each made one offer.
This year, there were no reported assessment internships.
Prof. (Dr.) S Shanthakumar, the GNLU director, offered commentary on the placement of 77 students.
"The record-breaking placement numbers this year are a testament to our students' unwavering commitment, our faculty's leadership, and our recruitment partners' faith in us. GNLU is still dedicated to creating well-rounded legal professionals who can satisfy the ever-changing needs of the legal sector in addition to excelling academically.
Dr. Nidhi Buch, an associate professor of law and head of the internship and placement division, said,
"Our students' exceptional performance has made us incredibly proud. The university community's combined efforts, alumni mentoring, and persistent hard work have led to this accomplishment. We want to express our sincere appreciation to all hiring companies for their ongoing belief in GNLU talent.
The Committee on Recruitment Affairs (CRA), which was headed by Buch and Nisha Trivedi and included CRA student members from the 2026 and 2027 batches, was in charge of the hiring process.
