Gujarat's legal services department has announced a helpline for the Air India plane tragedy.

To obtain passenger information from agencies, obtain certificates or documents, or obtain legal services, call the helpline.
A helpline for the victims and families of those killed in the recent Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad has been announced by the Gujarat State Legal Services Authority (GSLSA).
According to a news release from the GSLSA, the helpline can be called for any type of assistance, including obtaining passenger information from authorities, issuing certifications or documents, and providing legal services.
"In order to assist the victims and the families of deceased victims of Ahmedabad Plane crash incidence, under the guidance of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Suryakant, Judge Supreme Court of India and Executive Chairman, NALSA, Gujarat State Legal Service Authority under the stewardship of Hon'ble the Chief Justice, Mrs. Justice Sunita Agarwal and Hon'ble Mr Justice A. Y. Kogje has proposed 24 hours helpline (079-25512033 & 6357981043) in coordination with Ahmedabad City Civil Legal Service committee," the organization stated.
Additionally, the GSLSA has made the decision to set up a help desk at the legal services clinic in Shahibaug, Dafnala, where they will offer advice on how to access services from various organizations.
On June 12, 241 passengers and crew members perished in the crash of Air India aircraft AI 171, which was traveling from Ahmedabad to London. A total of 169 Indian, 53 British, one Canadian, and seven Portuguese people were on board the Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
The family of each person killed in this disaster will receive ₹1 crore from the Tata Group, the company that owns Air India. Additionally, it has stated that it will pay for the harmed parties' medical bills.
