Salman Khan moves Delhi High Court to protect his personality rights

Bollywood Actor Salman Khan has approached the Delhi High Court asking protection of his personality rights [Salman Khan v Ashok Kumar/John Doe & Ors].
The case is set for hearing on December 11 (Thursday) before Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora.
Khan has approached the High Court seeking orders against several entities, including unknown (John Doe) defendants to restrain them from unauthorisedly using his personality rights.
The veteran actor joins the long list of celebrities who have in the recent days, approached courts to stop the misuse of their personality traits for commercial gains.
Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Karan Johar, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Jaggi Vasudev and many others' image rights were protected by the Delhi High Court.
The suit has been brought through Parag H Khandhar and Chandrima Mitra of DSK Legal.
