The ladies' bar room in the Punjab and Haryana High Court is destroyed by fire.

The High Court Bar Association of Punjab and Haryana has asked its members to help in the restoration.
Early on Monday morning, the Punjab and Haryana High Court experienced a fire that destroyed the Ladies' Bar room and seriously damaged the main Bar room.
According to a statement from the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, the anticipated damage is over ₹35 lakh.
"We regret to notify the distinguished members of the Bar that a tragic fire catastrophe happened early this morning. The Ladies' Bar Room and Room No. 4 have been completely destroyed by the fire, and a section of the Main Bar Room has also suffered severe damage," the Bar Body said in a statement.
It further stated that every effort is being made to rehabilitate the impacted areas. The Bar body encouraged its members, especially senior members and Senior Advocates, to make large contributions in light of the restoration work's financial needs.
"With a valid receipt, donations can be sent to the Bar Association's accounts office. Additionally, it said that the Bar Association is registered for an exemption under Section 80G of the IT Act.
