For all the wrong reasons, a video clip of a Delhi High Court virtual hearing has been making the rounds on social media.
The video shows a man dressed like a lawyer having brief sexual relations with a woman. The man's social media accounts portray him as a judge, which is incorrect.
Many have concluded that the man in question is a judge because, upon closer inspection of a snapshot of the hearing, a sub-window saying 'Court of HMJ Jyoti Singh' is visible.
The video is from the hearing held on October 14 before Delhi High Court Justice Jyoti Singh, one of the court's numerous female judges.
At the pertinent time, the judge's video stream was not turned on. One of the numerous parties virtually appearing before the court was the attorney in the video.
The man in question is a lawyer, not a judge, however it's unclear if he forgot to turn off his video or if the Court accidentally added him to the virtual session.
Many people thought the lawyer in the video was the judge holding court since the sub-window on the virtual screen with the name "Court of HMJ Jyoti Singh" appeared directly above the offending attorney.
