For the posts of Teaching Associate and Research Associate with the School of Maritime Law, Policy, and Administration, Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) is accepting applications from qualified applicants.
Description of the Job

- Through their teaching, research, and administrative duties in the areas of maritime law, policy, and administration, the chosen candidates will be required to support the institution's academic quality.
- Function and Accountabilities
The incumbent will carry out the following duties and responsibilities under the direction and general supervision of the Provost, Dean, Director, and Registrar:
(i) Collaborate with teaching and research personnel, including honorary members and students, to carry out multidisciplinary legal research;
(ii) As needed, help teaching and research professionals with their research;
(iii) Create, organize, carry out, oversee, and document multidisciplinary research in cooperation with outside academic institutions, government agencies, business and economic associations, and the courts in India and elsewhere;
(iv) Educate general teaching faculty members on current research advancements and new trends in their domains;
(v) Take part in the general planning and development of the University's training, research, academic, and extension programs and activities;
(vi) Carry out training and extension initiatives in the field of law that are grounded in research;
(vii) Carry out any additional tasks that are necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the university, such as administrative and coordinating tasks.
Compensation: a fixed monthly salary of ₹45,000.
