In Mumbai, SDS Advocates is seeking to hire Associate and Senior Associates.
PQE
For Senior Associate, a minimum of two years
- Associate: 1 year (internship term omitted)
- Reputable college BBA.LLB or BA.LLB is required.
- Where: Mumbai
Description of the Job
The following areas of law are the main focus of the Corporate Team (non-litigation)
- Fintech, banking and finance, mergers, IBC,
- The SEBI Regulations and the AIF;
- organized finance;
- Corporate General;
- offices for families and estate planning;
- protection of digital personal data;
- Due Diligence for IPOs and SMEs
- Investment laws and the issue of NCDS and CCDs
- Online Lending; and
- more research and transaction advisories.
- Included in the job description, but not exclusively, are:
- creating and reviewing a range of transactional agreements;
- drafting viewpoints;
- Due diligence
- is charge of managing transactions;
- research on a range of legal topics;
- Meetings and client handling;
- bargaining;
- fostering teamwork and information exchange;
We will favor those who have the following:
Prior Experience: The candidate has prior non-litigation law firm work experience in the following areas: general corporate, capital market, private equity, banking and finance, real estate, due diligence, and transaction team;
Skills: Enthusiastic, trustworthy, accountable, dynamic, well-versed in the law, a team leader, a team player, an unconventional thinker, intelligent, and a skilled communicator.
It will be beneficial to have an LLM in banking and finance or corporate and commercial law.
Payment:
- Senior Associates might earn up to ₹6.5 lakh annually on a retainer basis.
- Up to ₹5.5 lakh annually for associates on a retainer basis.
