NALSAR's Square Circle Clinic is seeking consultants in Delhi.
Applications are being accepted for a position as a Consultant (Research) and a Lead Consultant (Research) at the Square Circle Clinic at NALSAR University of Law (previously Project 39A at the National Law University, Delhi) in New Delhi.
There are two positions.
- Lead consultant: required for two years
- Consultant: at least two years
Qualification:
1) A law undergraduate degree in consultant research
2) Lead Research Consultant with a master's degree in social sciences or law
Description of the Job
In addition to leading the analysis and synthesis of research findings for dissemination through academic and policy publications, the Lead Consultant is expected to help develop the clinic's research agenda, oversee the work of research staff in carrying it out, publish articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals on topics relevant to the clinic's work, and establish and maintain relationships with federal and state criminal justice system agencies.
Data gathering, fieldwork for research projects when necessary, analysis of findings, and publication of articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to the clinic's operations are all expected of the consultant.
A LLB degree and membership in any State Bar Council are prerequisites.
Compensation: Competitive pay that reflects experience will be provided.
The following is the minimum salary for various positions:
- Lead Research Consultant - ₹9,60,000/- annually
- Research Consultant - ₹7,80,000/- annually
